As the (slightly) smaller sibling to our office on the east coast, we couldn’t be more jazzed to bring Moe into our team here in Vancouver.
Moe joins the Rhum West tribe from a previous role as an Interactive Developer and Sound Engineer - both hats he’ll continue to explore and grow as he takes on his newest adventure as Technical Recruiter. Coming from a development background, his skillset and keen eye for the granular details complements our diverse skills across our team and the needs of our growing clients to attract top technical talent while creating unforgettable candidate experiences. Beyond the technical experience, we were drawn to Moe for his vivacious personality, passion for the Arts, and an alignment to our core values - every person at Rhum is more than an employee, they are family.

New year, new career… what are some of your goals for this year?
I’d like to finish my first EP and produce more music in general rather than just Djing gigs every now and then. I’d also like to learn Houdini - It's mostly used in film for special effects, game studios use it for trailers or to procedurally generate mesh and foliage.
What artists do you love the most? Music or otherwise?
This is a tough one, specially cause its constantly changing and depends on what mindset I'm in but at the moment it’s:
Digital media/interactive art - Refik Anadol
Sculptures - Mario Martinez
For live music - Apparat , Nils Frahm , Mardeleva , Max Cooper , Yussef Kamaal
Djs/producers - this one is a long list, but after endless contemplating I'm going with Move D
